Who we are

What we collect

• Order details: name, shipping and billing address, email, phone number, items bought, order value.
• Payment details: handled by our payment processor Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
• Messages: what you send us through our Contact page or WhatsApp.
• Browsing data: pages viewed, products added to cart, device/browser type, approximate location (country) and IP address, collected with cookies and similar technologies (see our Cookie Policy).
• Marketing preferences: if you sign up to our emails.

Why we use it (and our legal basis where that applies)

• To take payment, ship your order and handle returns (performing our contract with you).
• To answer your questions (contract / legitimate interests).
• To prevent fraud (legitimate interests).
• To send marketing emails if you signed up. You can unsubscribe in any email (consent).
• To measure and improve our ads and store, including with Meta (Facebook/Instagram) (consent where required by law, otherwise legitimate interests).
• To keep records required by tax and accounting law (legal obligation).

Who we share it with

• Amboras: our e-commerce platform, which hosts the store and processes orders using its own hosting providers.
• Stripe: payments.
• Meta Platforms: the Meta Pixel and Conversions API send events such as product views, add-to-cart, checkout and purchases, and (in hashed form) contact details such as email and phone, so we can measure and show our ads.
• Klaviyo: email marketing and product/cart reminder emails.
• Our suppliers and shipping carriers in China and in your country: your name, address and phone number, so they can pack and deliver your order.
• WhatsApp (Meta): if you choose to contact us there.
• Authorities, if the law requires it.

We do not sell your personal information.

International transfers

We operate from China and use service providers located outside your country, so your information may be processed in other countries. Where we transfer information internationally, we rely on the safeguards our service providers make available and that the applicable law requires.

How long we keep it

We keep personal information for as long as needed for the purposes above and as required by law. If you unsubscribe from marketing, we keep a record of that so we don't email you again. For cookies, see our Cookie Policy.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example the UK, the EU, South Africa, Canada, Australia or certain US states), you can ask to access, correct or delete your information, object to or restrict some uses, withdraw consent, and get a copy of your data. To make a request, contact us through our Contact page (/contact); we reply within one month. You can also complain to your local regulator, for example the UK ICO, South Africa's Information Regulator, the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, or the OAIC in Australia.

Children

Our store is for adults buying for themselves or as gifts. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13 (or the age set by your local law).
